UnderstandSunnah is a small attempt at providing a more accessible understanding of hadith, through structuring the context of hadith, and reference-linked to scholarly explanations.
This project relies on research from classical works such as Fath al-Bari, Irshad al-Sari, and other recognized sources. The explanations have been arranged after summarizing the كلام of the scholars to the best of our abilities, making it more clear and beneficial for the reader.
This is not a matter of personal interpretation. Rather, it is an attempt to organize and present existing scholarly discussions in a simplified and structured format for better understanding. References will be given wherever possible so that readers are able to trace back to the original sources.
Despite this, the effort is carried out by humans. If there are any mistakes or misrepresentations we sincerely apologize for that and ask for reporting such matters. Corrections and feedback are always welcome.
If you see some issue or something unclear, please report it so it can be checked and fixed.
Whenever the need arises for further study or in case of doubt, readers are free to return to the original sources for reference and clarification from the relevant qualified scholars.
May Allah accept this effort, forgive our mistakes, and make it a means of benefit for the Ummah.
